The Oscar Child's Bed features an iron frame that curves breathlessly around, as cast scalloped edges embrace the four corners. Spindles stand in line along the arched headboard and footboard, while a cast fleur-de-lis pattern marches across the bottom of the spindles and an etched leaf design dances across the top. The feet are solidly grounded with carved castings.
The Oscar bed is available in two finishes: Golden Sand or Matte Black. The Golden Sand is a lovely pearl base with hints of light brown sand color across the surface, envoking feelings of a windswept beaches where seashells are washed up on the shore. The castings hold the color a bit longer than the frame and spindles. In stark contrast, the Matte Black finish is a midnight finish of a black matte patina - a one step powder coat that is durable and maintenance free for many years of carefree use.
